A God moment indeed!
After sharing the 'Leper' (a piece from the view of the leper who came back to say thanks taken from Burl Red & Regan Courtney's 'Bright New Wings') as a call to worship in the adult worship services at Grace Fellowship in Omaha I went back to share with the children on Main Street (their children's ministry area). Following is from a note I since received from their pastor, 'I really appreciate your ministry in our worship service. I had forgotten that you talked about doing the thankful leper (in case you didn’t know that was my message text) so I was excited when you did that because it was a great God moment.' Don't you just love it when God does something like that?!

I'm Dreaming of a White Palm Sunday:)
Actually that wasn't even in my dreams but that's what we got in real life here on the northern great plains! That snow closed the door on a ministry opportunity at Calvary Baptist Church in Madison, NE which has now been postponed till 5/3. Lord what are You up to with this, what good do you intend to work through this?

Curtain down here as it opens there for Roger Rader
One of the first time's I met Roger he was a policeman to my being a fugitive in Hastings Community Theatre's production of 'Arsenic and Old Lace'. Along the way I was a pastor to Roger as church member (the first time he visited I called him by his brother's name - from the pulpit:-); was a fellow cast member with and a director to him in productions of the Trinity Theatre Company. Through my years of knowing him this side of glory he was a good, positive, encouraging brother in Christ and friend. Roger loved a to tell or act out a good story. On Tuesday 2/10 Roger's story ended here and started in the presence of His Savior and Lord. Let's pray for his girls - wife LaDonna and daughters Kim & Kris and their families as they journey through the shadow of the valley of death leaning back in the arms of our Good Shepherd!
